OOS International, the Dutch company which offers specialist offshore decommissioning, ship management and heavy lift services reports that construction of its newbuild semi-submersible heavy lift crane vessel OOS Serooskerke is making good progress.

All of the structural steel work on the vessel has been completed. The blocks are now undergoing internal outfitting and painting before being erected onto the superstructure, while deck modules are currently being placed onto the vessel.

Completion is scheduled for the second quarter of 2019, when the vessel will be used in decommissioning projects and other heavy lift operations worldwide.

OOS International offers a fleet of semi-submersible heavy lift vessels which can install numerous fixed and floating structures in both shallow and deep water.

The crane vessels can be used for transportation of modules and equipment on deck, reducing costs and improving workability, claims OOS International.
