August 24 - Ruslan International has moved a 60-tonne steam superheater along with 4.8 tonnes of accessories from Austria to Saudi Arabia.
The cargo was driven 450 km overland to Linz, before being loaded onto one of Ruslan's 17-strong fleet of AN124-100 aircraft and flown to Dammam in partnership with Panalpina.
The journey required special permits due to the superheater's width of 6.2 m. Barriers, fences and a gate had to be removed so that the load could enter the airfield.
