Swanson in at DHL

Jake Swanson been appointed as global head, EPC projects sector - DGF Industrial Projects, a part of DHL Industrial Projects.

In his new role, he will continue to strengthen the company's global relationships with the major engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractors, whilst providing support and guidance to its offices around the globe.

Swanson joins from CB&I, one of DHL Industrial Projects' EPC customers, where he has worked since 2011 on multi-billion dollar investment projects, drawing on his marine and vessel operations experience to deliver complex logistics solutions. He most recently held the position of global logistics manager, engineering and construction.
 
He has more than 17 years of experience in marine services, vessel chartering and logistics having spent his early career as a deck officer, gaining experience in cargo handling and port operations and then progressing to managing shore-based operations as a terminal manager.

He will continue to be based in Houston.
