FLS-KAA lands oil and gas contract

FLS-KAA has been awarded a contract to transport more than 11,000 freight tons of oil and gas equipment from the UAE to Iraq.

The first shipment, which consisted of pipe layer machines, was loaded aboard a ro-ro vessel in Jebel Ali for onward transportation to Umm Qasr.

The components, which weighed 45 tons (40.8 tonnes) each, were delivered to the project site, located 450 km from the port.

FLS-KAA is a member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC).
