Forwarders in line for an award

26 freight forwarding companies have been shortlisted as finalists for the nine service-related categories of this year's British International Freight Association’s (BIFA) 2018 Freight Service Awards.

In the project forwarding category, which is sponsored by Peter Lole Insurance Brokers, the four finalists for the award, considered to be the Oscars of the UK freight industry, are Dimerco Express Group; Hemisphere Freight Services; Specialist Logistics Services; and Ucargo.

Their entry submissions will now be further judged and the overall winner in each category will be announced at the BIFA Freight Service Awards luncheon ceremony on January 17, 2019 in London.

Robert Keen, BIFA’s director general, commented: “Now in its 30th year, the BIFA Freight Service Awards is rightly seen as the blue riband event for the UK's freight forwarding and logistics sector."
