May 28 - A second Liebherr mobile harbour crane has entered into service at the Niedersachsenkai Brake seaport terminal, Germany.

For the terminal operator and owner J. Müller Group the new crane will allow for an important extension of its service portfolio. The new crane has a lifting capacity of 140-tonnes at a distance of 20 m. The new crane can be used in tandem with the original mobile crane to lift loads of 280 tonnes.


According to J. Müller Group the new crane will provide flexible capacity in order to handle large and small cargoes. In addition to handling bulk goods such as grain and feed, the gateway will use the new capacity to target more heavy and project cargoes - including iron and steel products, turned components and wind turbine equipment.
