January 26 - The latest Nooteboom PX2 low-loader on 245 tyres has an extremely low axle assembly approximately 10 cm lower than on a low-loader with 285 tyres.

The excavator trough in the axle assembly is also 10 cm lower and consequently the difference in height between the load floor and axle assembly is also much reduced.

This is an important advantage when carrying machinery such as combine harvesters and dump trucks with the load protruding from the axle assembly.

The new PX2 low-loader on 245 tyres has an axle assembly height of just 1.01 m in drive position and the suspension offers a vertical axle travel of as much as 600mm. The axle assembly can be raised by 460 mm or lowered by 140 mm. This means that the Nooteboom PX2 is the lowest pendle axle assembly on
the market.

Due to the use of pendle axles, the PX2 low-loader on 245 tyres has a load capacity of 12 tonnes per axle line at 80 km/hr. The low-loader is available with two or three axle lines and comes in 3 different standard widths: 2540mm, 2740mm and 2840 mm. The axle assembly can be combined with various load floors and types of gooseneck. The 2-axle and 3-axle PX2 low-loader will still be available on 285 tyres with a load capacity of 14 tonnes per axle line at 80 km/hr.
