February 3 - Offshore Heavy Transport (OHT) has been contracted by Statoil to transport the Askepott Cat J jack-up rig for the Oseberg oilfield in Norway.
The rig, which is being built in South Korea, will be transported 14,000 nautical miles (25,928 km) to Norway.
According to OHT, following the transport of the Noble Lloyd Noble, this will be the second Statoil Cat J jack-up transport that is entrusted to the company.
