February 5 - Terry O'Regan has been appointed legal director of the specialist shipping, logistics and international services team at UK-based law firm Birketts.
Previously head of the London international trade team at Eversheds, O'Regan has particular expertise in marine, trade, energy and insurance, working for ship owners, charterers, insurers, state and private oil companies, traders and banks.
O'Regan will be based at the company's Ipswich office, but will also support colleagues at Birketts' offices in Chelmsford, Cambridge and Norfolk.
