First Global Logistics, Project Cargo Network (PCN) member in Egypt, has recently transported 44 components for a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system.

The shipment originated in Amman, Jordan and was delivered to the Lower Fars heavy oil project in Kuwait.

Each component measured 3 m x 2.5 m x 3.5 m and the consignment had a volume of 1,140 cu m in total.

Elsewhere, two PCN members have handled the transportation of 198-tonnes of machinery parts from Shanghai, China, to Izmir in Turkey.

PCN member in Germany, Gruber Logistics coordinated the movement from Shanghai to the port of Safi on board a breakbulk service, before Turkish member, Element International Forwarding & Logistics, delivered the components on six lowbed trailers to Soma in Izmir.

Egyptian member, Rockit Transport Services, and Gruber Logistics have won an integrated logistics agreement for airport projects in Egypt.  The two companies will provide shipping, Customs clearance, and transportation of security equipment for the development of Cairo International Airport, Hurghada International Airport, and Sharm El Sheikh International Airport. 

Meanwhile, PCN member in Malaysia, Megalift, has recently moved an 88-tonne reformed gas waste heat boiler, measuring 14.5 m x 3 m x 3.5 m from Europe to Labuan in Sabah, Malaysia.
