February 19 - Member of the Project Cargo Network (PCN) in Greece and Serbia, Delta Maritime, has coordinated the shipment of two Caterpillar bulldozers from Piraeus port to Ashdod in Israel.

The two machines, each of which weighed 57 tonnes and measured 7.1 m x 3.16 m x 3.23 m, arrived in Piraeus from Australia on board a WWL ro-ro vessel, before being transferred onto a Neptune Lines ro-ro vessel for shipment to Israel.

Meanwhile PCN member in Thailand and Myanmar, CEA Projects, was busy handling the transportation of an entire bottle blowing machine and its associated parts to a soft drinks factory in Yangon.

On arrival at the port, CEA Myanmar helped transport the oversize machine components overland to the factory site, accompanied by escort vehicles. On arrival at the facility, the equipment was unloaded and installed using skates.

Elsewhere, PCN member in Germany, Russia and Mongolia, Alexander Global Logistics (AGL), completed the shipment of three leisure boats from Poland to Bandar Abbas, Iran via the Port of Hamburg.

Grand Arabia - PCN member in Jordan and Iraq - was also busy with the first shipments of cargo for one of the largest construction projects in Jordan. The company coordinated the transport of piling hammers from Aqaba Port to the project site, which included arranging Customs clearance, trucking, unloading and insurance.
