July 30 - Effective August 1, Peter Doehle Schiffahrts will be represented in Singapore by Orient Project Shipping, as its exclusive commercial agent for all the ASEAN nations, as well as Australia and New Zealand.
Orient Project Shipping will be responsible for broking Peter Doehle's multipurpose fleet, which currently consists of 24 ships with varied lift capacities between 100 and 700 tonnes.
The Hamburg-based chartering broker says that the appointment sends a strong signal of intent to establish a firm identity and market presence in the region.
Orient Project Shipping (formerly known as Coli Shipping (S) Pte) is a project shipping expert backed by more than 20 years of trading in Singapore and with a wealth of knowledge covering Asia, Australia and beyond.
The company is already BigLift Shipping's representative for South East Asia having been appointed in April 2010.
