May 3 - The Project Logistics Alliance (PLA) network held its first annual event, with 40 members attending the meeting in Antwerp, Belgium last week.

PLA welcomed 13 entries to the network throughout the Breakbulk Europe exhibition, also held in Antwerp, which means the network has 51 members covering 76 countries.  

C.H. Robinson joined the network representing the USA and Canada; Scandinavian Express joined for Sweden; Delta Maritime Limited will cover the Greek market; Brunel Shipping joined in the UK; Project Logistics - Gold Star Consulting joined covering both Finland and Russia; Transfreight Corporation joined for Pakistan and Afghanistan; Canaan Group will represent the group in Canada; SNS International Transport joined for Dubai; and FLS joined for Vietnam and Australia.
