March 17 - Polytra has transported two transformers from Mumbai, India to two substations in Lubumbashi, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

The transformers, one weighing 58 tons (52.6 tonnes) and the other weighing 85 tons (77.1 tonnes), were shipped from Mumbai on a ro-ro vessel. The cargoes were then transhipped in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia before being delivered to Durban, South Africa.

The two units had to be stored for five weeks before being transported 2,950 km to the DRC on lowbed trailers.
