Comerford steps up at Tyne

The UK's port of Tyne has appointed Mike Comerford to its board as a non-executive director.

Comerford has over 30 years of experience in shipping, maritime safety and engineering. He is a chartered engineer, a member of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (MRINA) and an associate fellow of the Nautical Institute (AFNI).

He has previously held senior roles within the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, Lloyd's Register and Bureau Veritas.
