Happy delivery for Virginia

BigLift Shipping has delivered six rail-mounted gantry cranes (RMG) to the port of Virginia's Norfolk International Terminals (NIT), using its heavy lift vessel Happy Buccaneer.

The shipment forms part of the port’s USD375 million expansion project at the terminal that will include the delivery of 60 new cranes.

Once the RMG cranes are offloaded they will be mounted on rails, tested and put into service by the end of September 2018.
