Schacht departs Europatrans

December 20 - Europatrans, part of the EMS-Fehn-Group, has appointed Michael Plewa as managing director, succeeding Andreas Schacht with immediate effect.

"Plewa is an expert in road transport of oversized and heavy cargo," said Manfred Müller, ceo of EMS-Fehn-Group. "He held senior positions in the business for more than 15 years and has all the prerequisites for leading Europatrans into a successful future."

EMS-Fehn acquired a 70 percent stake in Europatrans in 2015, as HLPFI reported here. With Schacht's departure, he will no longer be a shareholder in the company.
