March 21 - SAL Shipping's Lone, which was recently delivered and named in Hamburg, is seen below loading pipes at the rhb stevedoring & warehousing terminal during its maiden voyage.

Reported to be the most powerful heavy lift vessel in the world, Lone (pictured below) loaded eight pipes each weighing 630 tonnes at rhb on behalf of Coli Shipping & Transport of Rotterdam. The pipes are 78 m long with a diameter of 3.75 m. 

Lone and her sister ship, Svenja each have two cranes with a lifting capacity of 1000 tonnes, giving a total lift capacity of 2000 tonnes.
