Project cargo sailings to Haiti launched

July 1 - A new weekly shipping service from the US to Haiti has been launched.

The service will be undertaken by Houston-based America Cargo Transport, a US-based shipping line with an expertise in handling project cargo.

Its ships will load in the early weekend in Jacksonville, Florida before sailing to Port-au-Prince and Cap Haitien, Haiti.

Managers at America Cargo Transport are seeking containerised, ro-ro, breakbulk and heavylift cargo as well as freight from commercial, NGO and non-profit operators.
