November 19 - Sao Paulo, Brazil headquartered Santin Equipamentos has invested in a CombiMAX trailer from Faymonville.

The new CombiMAX joins Santin's existing roster of Faymonville trailers, which includes 24 TeleMAX platform trailers and two BrazilMAX models, each of which have a payload of 100 tonnes.

Paul Hönen, sales manager for Brazil at Faymonville, said that after the success of these trailers, it made sense for both parties to step up their cooperation with the delivery of a new heavy-duty model.

The CombiMAX combination consists of one two-axle bogie, two four-axle bogies and one six-axle bogie.

Hönen explained that the trailer also features Faymonville's innovative Add-On-Beam - an extension beam that he claims gives the vehicle unmatched flexibility through variable telescoping.

Unlike conventional modular trailers, the CombiMAX combination can cater for long loads, as well as handle the transportation of heavy and oversize cargo, added Hönen.
