Expect delays at port of Antwerp

Three Belgian trade unions have called for a 24-hour general strike to take place on Wednesday February 13, 2019, effective 06:00.

Servicesare expected to be severelydisrupted at the country’s ports, according to various reports.

Meanwhile, Brussels Airport said that its operations will be majorly disrupted, leading to flight cancellations and heavy delays.

Public sector workers are taking part in the strike against budget cuts, working hour changes and a rise in the retirement age.
