Varamar triumphs with new beaux

Vertom Shipping has appointed Odessa-headquartered Varamar as its commercial agent for two of its 7,200 dwt geared vessels - Beautriumph and Beautrophy.

The vessels will operate on a service connecting the Black Sea and Mediterranean Sea to the Middle East, India and Asia.

Varamar says that, due to an increase in cargo flow, it is currently in negotiations with other companies to gain access to additional fleet space, which the company says may result in additional services to Africa.

Meanwhile, Varamar has transported dismantled stadium structures, produced in Italy by Cimolai, for the construction of the Al Wakrah Stadium in Qatar.

Varamar handled six sailings for the project on behalf of Schenker Projects (Italy).
