January 3 - Suderman Contracting Stevedores and Suderman Terminal in the US Gulf are rebranding as Metro Ports, Metro Cruise Services and Metro Shore Services.

California-headquartered Nautilus International Holding Corporation announced that the rebranding of its Suderman subsidiaries is effective as of January 1 2013.

The Suderman companies serve the dry bulk, project cargo, wind energy and passenger cruise industries. Nautilus purchased the two Suderman concerns in July 2011.

Suderman will be fully integrated into the Metro Ports operation on the US Gulf Coast and Nautilus stated that it would benefit from national brand recognition and operational support.

All Suderman cruise operations will be brought under the Metro Cruise Services banner. Metro Shore Services will position itself to serve the passenger cruise industry as opportunities arise.
