August 30 - Suparna Airlines, a subsidiary of HNA Modern Logistics, has launched a service connecting Xi-an Xinyang International Airport in China with Frankfurt-Hahn Airport in Germany.

The service is scheduled to operate once a week and will utilise a Boeing 747 freighter.

According to Suparna Airlines, the service will mainly transport electronic and mechanical products and "will further expand the China-Europe cargo airline network, promote economic and trade cooperation and cargo exchanges between Xi-an and European countries."

The new route route is in addition to Suparna's existing European service, which connects Xi-an with Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
