August 20 - In the port of Brake, Germany, two Liebherr mobile harbour cranes - a LHM 550 and a LHM 500 - were used to offload a 150-tonne cylinder destined for a new paper production line at Alfeld in Lower Saxony.

The cylinder was brought into Brake from Karlstad, Sweden, onboard Erik Thun AB's coaster, Eken, for the Finnish paper manufacturer Metso.

In Brake, the dedicated terminal for general and project cargoes is operated by J. MÜLLER Breakbulk Terminal GmbH & Co. KG.

Over the course of four days, one of  Kübler Spedition's vehicles was used to deliver the cylinder to the new production line of the South African paper group Sappi Alfeld.

The overall dimensions of the heavy transport was 42 m in length, 6.60 m wide and 7.80 m high; with a total weight of over 250 tonnes.
