The UK-headquartered company specialist soared 52 places in the annual league table of Britain's biggest mid-market private companies having come in at 73rd in 2010.

Despite tough trading conditions, the Sunday Times praised those companies featured in the report for their ambition and innovation in powering through the economic downturn.

The company, which has a global network of 31 offices in 23 countries, achieved a 32 percent increase in sales in 2010 with turnover topping GBP460 million.

Together, the 250 companies on the list generated a turnover of GBP71.2 billion (USD111.5 billion) and employ nearly 500,000 people.
