December 30 - Effective January 1, 2017, Jacques Vandermeiren will become chief executive officer and president of the Executive Committee of Antwerp Port Authority.
HLPFI reported in June 2016 that Vandermeiren would succeed Eddy Bruyninckx, who has been the head of the port authority for the past 25 years.
