October 2 - Volga-Dnepr Airlines' latest project saw it transport more than 90 tonnes of oilfield equipment from Calgary in Canada to the Russian city of Surgut, using one of its AN-124-100 freighters.

The consignment was delivered on behalf of Canada's Calfrac Well Services Ltd and included two pumps used for hydraulic fracturing mounted on 13 m long trailers, a 12 m truck-mounted blender, and auxiliary equipment for oil and gas well stimulation at fields in Western Siberia.
 
This was the sixth delivery of oilfield equipment completed by Volga-Dnepr Airlines for Calfrac Well Services from North America to Russia.
 
CIS freight forwarder Dialog Freight International, a long-term partner of Volga-Dnepr Airlines, ordered the transport.
