July 8 - Two saltwater crocodiles have taken a 12,000 km trip to a new home with the help of WACO members, Mainfreight International in Australia and Freightworks in the UAE.

It took six hours for the ten animal handlers to capture the crocodile couple and load them onto Mainfreight crates which had been specifically designed so that temperature could be controlled and the crocodiles could be easily accessed.

They were then loaded onto a plane to Sharjah Airport in the UAE. At the airport Freightworks handled the Customs clearance, vet inspection and onward transportation of the crocodiles.

Finally, the crocodiles were "handed over to Dubai Aquarium and Mall, on time and in perfect condition" said Mark Simon, director of commercial operations at Freightworks.
