May 13 - Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics (WWL) has introduced a new service offering monthly port calls at Guayaquil in Ecuador and Callao in Peru in the trade between North and South America.
According to John Felitto, executive vice president, Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics Region Americas, South America's economy attracts a variety of ro-ro cargo, from vehicles to agricultural, construction, mining and factory equipment giving forwarders, shippers and OEMS additional options.
This new service will directly connect cargo from WWL's US East Coast ports (Baltimore and Savannah) with Ecuador and Peru.
