February 12 - Royal Boskalis Westminster (Boskalis) has confirmed that the Dockwise vessel White Marlin has been named and christened during a ceremony in Guangzhou, China.
Following the ceremony, the semi-submersible heavy transport vessel will be mobilised to Singapore for its maiden transport of two drilling rigs destined for Abu Dhabi.
White Marlin has a deadweight of 72,000 tonnes, with an overall length of 216 m and a beam of 63 m.
