December 11 - Mercator Transport - French representative of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) - has completed the movement of several heavy and out-of-gauge components for the paper manufacturing industry.

In co-operation with WWPC partner companies in China and Chile, paper machine components have been transported to jobsites around the world - some pieces weighing 44 tonnes.

Mercator and WWPC China Northern member Global Star Logistics (GSL), successfully moved cargoes from Xingang, China to Mundra, India.

Mercator also collaborated with GSL and WWPC Chile member Techniproject, to transport equipment between Xingang and Chilean capital, San Antonio.

Furthermore, Mercator teamed up with Ocean Knight Shipping (WWPC Central China) to move oversized cargoes between France and the Chinese city, Taizhou.

"The unity and power of qualified project forwarding companies, demonstrating their skills through their partnership contacts within a strong network brand once more has been evidenced through these operations," noted Wolfgang Karau, director of the WWPC.
