November 25 - “K” Line (Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha) has enhanced its ro-ro service in the Thailand-Australia trade by commencing a new anti-clockwise route in addition to its existing clockwise trade lane.

With this enhanced service, "K" Line says it will provide short transit times, additional frequency and more sufficient and reliable carrying capacity, supporting the increasing transportation demand in the growing import automotive market in Australia.

The Japanese shipping company noted that imported vehicles are taking the place of domestically produced vehicles in the Australian market.

The new anti-clockwise service will operate two sailings a month, calling at Laem Chabang (Thailand), Fremantle, Adelaide and Melbourne (Australia).

The existing clockwise service, which operates weekly, makes calls at Laem Chabang, Townsville, Brisbane, Port Kembla, Melbourne, Adelaide and Fremantle.
