Mammoet strengthens UAE capabilities

Heavy lifting and transport specialist Mammoet has bolstered its presence in Abu Dhabi on the back of “an influx” of investment in the UAE’s oil and gas, power, water and transportation sectors.

The company believes the Middle Eastern country could be a hot spot for logistics projects in the years to come. Therefore, it has partnered with marine equipment owners to support its barge and tug fleet.

Mammoet has also welcomed two new additions to its staff.

Enrico Luconi Trombacchi, who has previously held executive roles in the heavy lift and transport industry in the Middle East and North Africa, will head up the company’s UAE branch.

Vimal Jose, who has 13 years of heavy haulage experience in Abu Dhabi, will act as Mammoet’s operations manager there.
