BBC Chartering ships the stage

June 20 - Leer, Germany headquartered heavy lift shipping line BBC Chartering has sponsored the Caravan Stage Company's Tall Ship Theatre.

The Caravan Stage Company is a non-profit theatrical group that performs to audiences from the deck of the vessel Amara Zee. On June 15, 2013 BBC Chartering loaded the 30 m Amara Zee onboard its multipurpose vessel BBC Ohio in Salerno, Italy, for transportation to Houston, USA.


Amara Zee will then travel under its own power to New Orleans, where it will be used in the upcoming show: Hacked...The Treasure of the Empire.

Svend Andersen, ceo, BBC Chartering, commented: "We are excited to see the Amara Zee move with BBC Chartering and we are pleased that we can help bring the Caravan Stage Company's show to people around the world."
