June 4 - Effective September 1st, Dockwise Ltd's subsidiary Dockwise Shipping will have a new chief financial officer.
Peter Wit will lead the company's global finance, legal and information technology departments. A career employee of Shell, Mr Wit is currently chief operations officer and finance manager of Shell Asset Management Company and had previously been VP Finance of Shell's Solar business, as well as head of finance of Shell's Albanian oil exploration venture.
"The appointment of Peter Wit is an important step in the further development of Dockwise", CEO André Goedée states. "His combined background in finance, asset management and the Oil and Gas industry from the client's perspective brings added value at an important moment in time."
In a company statement, Claudia Mennen who has been acting CFO for an interim period was thanked by Mr Goedée for providing important support which has helped the company during uncertain times and difficult financial circumstances. Mrs Mennen will resume her duties as VP Finance at Dockwise, assisting Peter Wit in future developments.
