Höegh names SSL in Finland

October 5 - Höegh Autoliners has appointed Scandinavian Shipping & Logistics (SSL) as its agent in Finland, effective December 1, 2015.

The shipping line has a longstanding relationship with SSL, having acted as Höegh's agent in Sweden and Norway for several years. SSL will now open a branch office in Helsinki and has appointed Petri Kalkkinen as general manager.

"This new office will enable us to strengthen our organisation and business in the Finnish market," says SSL managing director Joachim Lagerstedt. "This is another step in our strategy to develop the Scandinavian Shipping & Logistics services by being closer to the customers and markets."
