The International Union Marine Insurance (IUMI) has nominated Richard Turner, global marine director and European director of global risk solutions at RSA Insurance Group, for the role of president.
Current president, Dieter Berg, will end his four-year term at this year’s IUMI annual conference in Cape Town and will formally hand over the position to his successor on September 19, 2018.
The IUMI council will consider Turner’s nomination for the position and a formal announcement will be made in September. Turner has a long relationship with IUMI and has previously served on the executive committee between 2011 and 2015. Prior to that he was a member of IUMI’s nominating committee.
