Klein named Rotterdam rep

July 28 - Roland Klein has been appointed representative of the Port of Rotterdam Authority in the German regions of Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate and southern Hessen.

The port authority says that it would like to attract more cargo to Rotterdam from this region, which includes the important German cities of Mannheim, Ludwigshafen, Frankfurt, Mainz and Stuttgart.

In this role Klein, who is managing director of the intermodal terminal KTL Ludwigshafen, will supplement the work of Port of Rotterdam representative in Bavaria, Ingrid Rossmeier.
