Mammoet has confirmed that it is in advanced discussions with ALE regarding a purchase agreement, under which Mammoet will acquire the UK-headquartered heavy lift and specialist transport provider.
Speaking with HLPFI, Mammoet said: “Should these discussions result in a signed agreement, the companies will seek approval from the relevant competition authorities. In the meantime, the companies will continue to act independently of each other, as competitors.”
While the two companies do not wish to comment any further about the acquisition talks, HLPFI expects more information to follow.
