Noatum Maritime Services, through its Marmedsa Oil & Gas division, has opened commercial offices and a warehouse in Houston, USA.

Marmedsa USA will focus on the provision of specialised services to the oil and gas drilling industry.

According to Noatum, the opening of the office is part of the group's strategic plan to reinforce its maritime, logistics and port services. Established in 2015, the oil and gas division provides solutions specifically tailored to the logistics and port requirements of the industry.

The Houston team will be led by Boris Kos, who has held several positions within the oil and gas industry over the past 25 years.

Antonio Campoy, ceo of Noatum Maritime, said: "These new offices will allow us to extend our international presence as a shipping and commercial representation agency and in the provision of specialised transport solutions for the oil and gas industry, a sector with high growth potential."
