DSV completes Panalpina acquisition

DSV has completed the acquisition of Swiss freight forwarder Panalpina, creating one of the world’s largest transport and logistics companies.

As part of the integration process, an extraordinary general meeting will be held to approve the change of DSV’s registered name to DSV Panalpina A/S.

Jens Bjørn Andersen (ceo) and Jens H. Lund (cfo) will join the new executive board of Panalpina, while the appointment of the remaining executive management team will be announced in due course.

The entire integration process is expected to take two to three years.

The combined entity has a workforce of 60,000 employees in 90 countries.
