Roll Group opens in Asia

Roll Group has strengthened its presence in the Asia Pacific (APAC) market by opening offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and South Korea.

Roll Group APAC has invested in Scheuerle SPMT lines, which have immediately deployed on project; an additional fleet of cranes is being shipped in.

Robin Koenis, who has been appointed as managing director for Roll Group in the APAC region, will be based at the division’s headquarters in Singapore.

Koenis said: “Many subcontractor offices are located in Singapore and the APAC region is characterised by strong chemical and shipping industry clusters, so we need to be here.’’

He added: “From now on we operate from three strategic hubs: Rotterdam, Houston and Singapore.’’
