Samson appoints new vice president sales and marketing

December 13 - US-based high-performance rope manufacturer, Samson, has appointed Joe Mazzacano as vice president of sales and marketing, effective January 1, 2013.

Mazzacano has been with Samson for 14 years as vice president of finance. As a member of the executive team, Mazzacano has been responsible for developing and executing Samson's goal of becoming a world-leading high-performance synthetic rope manufacturer.

In his new role, Mazzacano will use his experience of Samson's markets, strategy, products and customers to continue to grow the company around the world. He will take responsibility for the company's sales team and its support locations throughout the US, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Australia.

"Joe's depth of experience in marketing and finance combined with his strong knowledge and leadership as a long-time member of our executive team will enable him to lead the organization in achieving its next phase of growth and business development," said Tony Bon, president, Samson.
