January 30 - Netherlands based member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) network, Steder Group, has organised the shipment of approximately 26,000 tonnes of land and sinker lines from China to Doha, Qatar.
The pipes will be used in the Mesaieed port expansion project, which will be constructed at an inland site approximately 25 km south of Doha City, between Mesaieed and Al Wakrah. The expansion project is being undertaken to improve access between the planned industrial zones to the south and west of Doha, including Mesaieed Industrial City, Qatar Economic Zone 3, and the Doha industrial area.
