September 11 - Steder Group has handled the shipment of several items of urgently required marine equipment from Rotterdam to China.
The shipment consisted of one 42-tonne pressure vessel unit (PVU), measuring 3.8 m x 3.3 m x 6.8 m, which also contained nitrogen assigned to Class 2 under the IMDG code; one 26-tonne hydraulic power unit (HPU), measuring 7.5 m x 2.7 m x 3.5 m; and several smaller items.
Due to the urgency of the cargo, Steder was requested to provide a fast and economical solution. The PVU was shipped as breakbulk cargo and the HPU on a 12.2 m flat rack, which were loaded onto a container vessel in the port of Rotterdam for the voyage to China.
Steder Group is a member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) in the Netherlands.
