February 3 - Volga-Dnepr Group has become a corporate sponsorship partner of Advanced International Networks (AIN) for 2015.

The agreement will see Volga-Dnepr support all three of AIN's logistics networks: AerOceanNetwork (AON) for commercial cargo; XLProjects (XLP) network for project cargo; and the newly-formed All-in-One Logistics Network (AiO).

"This commitment to AIN will strengthen our working relationships with their global network of highly respected project cargo professionals and independent freight forwarders," said Alan Baldwin of Volga-Dnepr. "We want to share our own knowledge and expertise and also expand our market awareness with member partners by working closely together to provide a comprehensive choice of best-in-class transport and logistics solutions."

"This will range from air charter, breakbulk chartering, specialty handling, road transportation, stevedoring, vessel and barge operations. XLProjects members, for example, are uniquely qualified in heavy lift handling and global transportation in their home markets, whether by ocean, air or overland, and this fits with the development of Volga-Dnepr's own door-to-door logistics services using all modes of transportation."

Gary Dale Cearley, managing director of AIN, added: "This is a win/win for all parties. It provides Volga-Dnepr with direct access to our members all over the world through our events, publications and other logistics network functions. At the same time, it also means our member partners have the opportunity to meet and work more closely with Volga-Dnepr to bring more benefits to their own customers."

All AIN partners will have access to Volga-Dnepr Group's knowledge and expertise in managing and supporting major logistics projects from inception to completion. They will also receive the latest information on the Group's empty aircraft legs to help AIN members offer the most reliable and cost efficient solutions to their customers.

"There are obvious project cargo needs that Volga-Dnepr is very well known for, but neither Volga-Dnepr nor AIN are restricted to only projects," said Steve Cross, AIN business manager and business development manager for XLProjects. "We have sister networks that use air services for commercial cargo and perishables as well, and these are areas Volga-Dnepr Group also has great expertise in through its scheduled cargo carrier, AirBridgeCargo Airlines."
