Malaysia’s Air-Marine Group has taken delivery of a Demag CC 3800-1 lattice boom crawler crane.
According to William Chiew, group managing director for Air-Marine Group, the company selected this model because of its strong performance and ability to be further upgraded with a Boom Booster Kit.
“The CC 3800-1 is easy to transport, can be rigged quickly, has a superb load chart, working range and low operational cost,” explained Chiew.
The crawler crane can lift up to 650 tonnes at a 12 m radius and features a 195 m maximum tip/sheave height.
“This lattice boom crawler crane model gives us the right combination of a compact footprint and heavy lift capacity required to perform challenging jobs in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines,” added Chiew.
The crane joins Air-Marine Group’s fleet of more than 36 Demag cranes.
