ALE partners with Murphy

ALE and J Murphy & Sons have formed a partnership to offer winch hire, pipe pulling and installation engineering services worldwide.

As part of the agreement, ALE will also have access to equipment designed by Land & Marine, a subsidiary of Murphy. Based in the UK, Land & Marine’s product portfolio includes pipe handling equipment such as rollers and rail bogies, as well as 800-tonne capacity liner winches.

This equipment, according to ALE, complements the capabilities of the company’s offshore services division, which provides engineering expertise and equipment to deliver complex projects.

Barnaby Mills, general manager for ALE – offshore services, added that the partnership will broaden the overall offshore services offering into civil engineering and decommissioning.
