March 29 - Autodienst West Ganske of Frankfurt, Germany, has added another Liebherr LTC 1045-3.1 mobile crane and now has a fleet which is 100 percent equipped with Liebherr machines, writes Charlotte Matheson.

Ralf Ganske, a member of Autodienst West, claimed: "The movable cab of the crane is a major advantage. On the road, the crane travels like a traditional two-cab mobile crane, while, at the same time, on the job it is extremely compact in operation. If need be, it is even possible for the front stowage box to be taken off, so as to carry out special tasks in really restricted spaces"

The LTC 1045-3.1 is fitted with a long boom, and with the tried and trusted Telematik system this can be telescoped out to a full 36 m in length.
